Metsger names Radway chief of staff

NCUA Chairman Rick Metsger has named Michael Radway as his chief of staff. Metsger was designated the agency's new chairman this week.

"We congratulate Mr. Radway on his new position and look forward to continuing to working with him on the important issues facing credit unions going forward," said NAFCU Executive Vice President of Government Affairs and General Counsel Carrie Hunt.

Radway has been Metsger's senior policy advisor at NCUA since November 2013. He previously served as chairman of the Federal Home Loan Bank of Seattle and chairman of the Council of Federal Home Loan Banks.

Metsger succeeded Debbie Matz as chairman; Matz stepped down from the agency board chairmanship April 30.
