NAFCU webcasts to detail insider fraud, succession planning

Two NAFCU webcasts this week focus on internal fraud from a credit union board's perspective and succession planning, respectively. Both webcasts will begin at 2 p.m. Eastern.

In the Tuesday webcast, Christopher Pippett, partner with Fox Rothschild LLP, will discuss what credit union boards can and should be doing to reduce the risk of insider fraud. He will present case studies and explore the signs and indications of fraud and what steps to take upon discovering fraud at a credit union.

This webcast is part of NAFCU's Risk Webcast Series and will be available on-demand for a year after its live broadcast.

On Wednesday, credit union viewers to NAFCU's webcast will learn best practices for developing a successful succession planning program. Kendra Williams, director of Human Resources at Apple Federal Credit Union, will talk credit union viewers through how to evaluate a succession planning program and the various frameworks and strategies needed to create a successful program.

Part of NAFCU's Human Resources Webcast Series, this webcast will also be available to credit unions on-demand for a year after its live broadcast.

Credit unions can get these and more than 40 other webcasts on 10 compliance topics for just one price, with NAFCU's Compliance Webcast and Online Training Subscription.
