Hearing on FI start-ups moved to March 21

A House subcommittee hearing on challenges for new financial institution start-ups, previously set for March 15, has been rescheduled for 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 21. NAFCU is scheduled to testify.

The hearing will be held by the House Financial Services Subcommittee on Financial Institutions and Consumer Credit, chaired by Rep. Blaine Luetkemeyer, R-Mo. Banking industry witnesses will also testify.

The hearing is titled "Ending the De Novo Drought: Examining the Application Process for De Novo Financial Institutions."
