Today's NAFCU webcast gives regulatory compliance update

Credit union viewers will receive a compliance update on recent CFPB and NCUA guidance, rules and regulations from NAFCU's Regulatory Compliance team during a live NAFCU webcast today.

The webcast, "May Regulatory Compliance Update," is slated for 2 p.m. Eastern.

Brandy Bruyere, NAFCU's vice president of regulatory compliance, will lead off the webcast with an overview of the newest credit union regulations and a look at upcoming regulatory changes and proposals affecting credit unions' compliance teams and the bottom line.

Regulatory compliance counsels Stephanie Lyon, Andre Cotton and Jennifer Aguilar will also provide updates on a variety of topics including the CFPB mortgage servicing final rule and prepaids rule; and the recent revisions to NCUA's field-of-membership rule.

Credit union compliance and lending staff are encouraged to attend.

On Tuesday, credit union viewers of the webcast, "The Impact Economy for Credit Unions: An Introduction and an Opportunity," will learn how to employ new approaches to meeting credit union member and community needs and gain a baseline understanding of the impact economy.
