NAFCU providing inside look at reg landscape Sept. 29

Credit unions can gain an insider view of what is new and upcoming on the regulatory front during a webcast available for viewing beginning Sept. 29. The webcast will be led by members of NAFCU's Regulatory Affairs team.

NAFCU Director of Regulatory Affairs Alexander Monterrubio, Senior Regulatory Affairs Counsel Michael Emancipator and Regulatory Affairs Counsels Ann Kossachev and Andrew Morris will give webcast viewers an update on recent and future rules coming from the CFPB and NCUA.

The team will also touch on the latest Capitol Hill developments on key issues, including housing finance reform; break down the recent Treasury report on banks and credit unions; discuss the CFPB's pending payday lending rulemaking; and give an update on the NCUA's proposal to close the Temporary Corporate Credit Union Stabilization Fund.

Credit unions can save $100 on this webcast if they register by Thursday. Viewers can access this webcast, "September Update: What's New and What's Next with NAFCU's Regulatory Affairs Team," through NAFCU's Online Training Center.

Also available Sept. 29 is a NAFCU webcast titled "Designing a Credit Union Culture that Excels at High Performance." Tansley Stearns, chief impact officer for the Filene Research Institute, will help viewers define four distinct components of culture and how they intersect. Register by Thursday to save $100.
