Marketplace encourages 'green' statements

April 25, 2011 – Credit unions can gain easy access to NAFCU's vast array of products and services via a new, improved online Marketplace that includes among its statement inserts one that encourages credit union members go switch to free, convenient eStatements.

The customizable insert, "Save Time, Save Paper, Save Trees," highlights the benefits of going green by switching from paper to electronic account statements. It explains that the National Arbor Day Foundation will plant a tree in honor of each member who does.

In addition to statement inserts, NAFCU member and nonmember credit unions can also find via the Marketplace NAFCU compliance-approved branch posters, online training for volunteers and new staff, robbery prevention training and more.
