NAFCU's Berger and Thaler Named Top Lobbyists by The Hill

Washington (Oct. 22, 2014)- The Hill, one of Capitol Hill's premier political publications, recognized Dan Berger, NAFCU president and CEO, and Brad Thaler, NAFCU vice president of legislative affairs, as top association lobbyists for 2014. This is the 12th year that Berger has been named to the list and the seventh year for Thaler.

"It is always an honor to be recognized as one of the top lobbyists in Washington, but the praise and distinction really goes to NAFCU's entire government affairs team who work extremely hard on Capitol Hill as well as with the administration. In addition, much credit also goes to our politically active members that support our efforts with their grassroots activities," said Berger.

According to The Hill's article, "Berger, who has led the group since 2013, and Thaler work to ensure credit unions retain a voice amid talk of financial rules and regulations."

The National Association of Federal Credit Unions is the only national trade association that exclusively represents the interests of federally chartered credit unions before the federal government and the public.
