NAFCU Partners with Tripler Fisher House to Help Military Families

Honolulu, Hawaii (June 15, 2017) – The National Association of Federally-Insured Credit Unions (NAFCU) has partnered with Tripler Fisher House in conjunction with the association's50th Annual Conference and Solutions Expoin Honolulu. Attendees today will assemble 200 care packages that will be donated to military families in Honolulu who are in need of household supplies.

"Tripler Fisher House does amazing work for military families, and we're delighted to work with them this year," said NAFCU Services Corporation President Randy Salser. "Credit unions enjoy giving back to their communities and helping servicemembers and their families. This project is a great way for our attendees to show their appreciation for all that they do for our country."

Based in Honolulu, Tripler Fisher House offers a home-like atmosphere for wounded soldiers and veterans receiving rehabilitation at Honolulu's Tripler Army Medical Center. A national nonprofit, Fisher House has served 305,000 military families since its inception in 1990.

Strategic Resource Management, CUNA Mutual Group, Triad Financial Services and Q2 are sponsoring the care packages. Conference attendees will participate in filling the packages and writing special notes for the families receiving them.
