Smith is an associate with the law firm of Messick & Lauer, P.C.  Her practice includes the representation of credit unions, credit union service organizations and real estate law.  Smith graduated from the University of Pittsburgh in 2000 with a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies. She attended Villanova University School of Law and received a Juris Doctorate degree in 2004. While in law school she clerked for the Honorable George A.
