Women at ComputersContinuing Education Credits (CEUs) can be earned by attending a non-NAFCU conference, event, or webcast, so long as the program is educational in nature and focuses on compliance and/or regulatory topics. Program topics that qualify for CEUs include:

  • Compliance
  • Regulatory/Regulations
  • Legislative/Legislation
  • BSA
  • Anti-Money Laundering
  • Asset Liability Management
  • Power of Attorney
  • NCUA Exams
  • Enterprise Risk Management

NAFCU reserves the right to disqualify programs that do not meet the standards required for CEU credit.

A total of .5 CEU is credited for each 30-minute increment of training. Credits are not awarded for quarter-hour increments, but you may round up to the half hour. (Therefore, if your training is 1.25 hours, you would earn 1.5 CEUs.) There is a $5 fee per .5 CEU earned.

Submit non-NAFCU programs for CEU credit.

You are no longer required to submit non-NAFCU training program information for pre-approval for CEU credit. Please just follow the guidelines above to determine if the program qualifies for NCCO credit. Then click the above link to submit the form with payment.

If you have questions on whether a program’s content will earn CEUs for your NCCO recertification, please send an email to ncco@nafcu.org along with the program agenda/schedule and session descriptions.
