Lisa Cox, a Certified Meeting Professional (CMP), was named vice president of events and education in August 2013. She oversees a team of event planners and education specialists responsible for NAFCU's educational events. These include NAFCU's Annual Conference and Solutions Expo, which attracts thousands of industry participants and NAFCU's frequent webcast offerings.
Prior to her current position, Cox was the director of event management for York Telecom Corporation.
Cox began her career at NAFCU in 2008 as associate director of events and education, where she developed educational program content and oversaw event operations for various conferences and webcasts.
Cox earned her master's degree from American University and her bachelor's degree from Vanderbilt University.
