NCUA Board today to hear NCUSIF, TCCUSF reports
The NCUA Board today will hear quarterly reports on the agency's National Credit Union Share Insurance Fund and Temporary Corporate Credit Union Stabilization Fund during an open meeting set for 10 a.m. Eastern.
The meeting will be broadcast live on the agency's website. The board today will also consider proposed changes to an Illinois member business lending rule.
This is the first open NCUA Board meeting since February (the March meeting was canceled). A closed meeting follows on a share insurance appeal.
The last NCUSIF report to the board was during the February meeting. NAFCU will closely monitor today's discussion for any indications regarding a potential share insurance premium assessment.
In December, NAFCU launched an "NCUA Money Watch" page to keep tabs on the NCUA's budget and finances.
