March 29 NAFCU member call to give federal advocacy update
NAFCU members are encouraged to register now for the association's March 29 member call-in, "NAFCU 1Q Advocacy Update." During the call, NAFCU President and CEO Dan Berger and senior staff will give members the latest on regulatory relief efforts underway at the federal level.
Slated for 4 p.m. Eastern, NAFCU will update members on plans for reform of the Dodd-Frank Act; proposed Durbin amendment repeal; CFPB structure and rulemaking authority; NCUA's plans for a potential share insurance fund premium charge; progress in corporate stabilization and rebate to credit unions; and ongoing litigation.
Berger will be joined in the call by Executive Vice President of Government Affairs and General Counsel Carrie Hunt, Vice President of Legislative Affairs Brad Thaler, Director of Regulatory Affairs Alexander Monterrubio, Vice President of Regulatory Compliance Brandy Bruyere, Director of Political Affairs Dan O'Brien and Chief Economist and Director of Research Curt Long.
NAFCU's March 29 call-in is provided free as a benefit of membership in NAFCU, but registration is required.
