NAFCU's 2017 CEOs and Senior Executives Conference Kicks Off in the Sunshine State

Miami, Fla.--(April 26, 2017) - Credit union CEOs and senior executives from around the country are gathered here today to kick off the National Association of Federally-Insured Credit Unions (NAFCU) 2017 CEOs and Senior Executives Conference, which runs through April 28.The conference offers details on emerging business development opportunities and successful credit union strategies for overcoming top-of-mind challenges.
"Credit union CEOs and senior executives are facing mounting competitive and regulatory challenges, and this conference will deliver powerful resources and extraordinary knowledge to help them excel in this climate," said NAFCU President and CEO Dan Berger. "This conference will allow attendees to learn new leadership tactics for improving operational efficiencies and give them a fresh look at how the current economy impacts their credit unions."
Berger will provide welcome remarks to attendees Thursday. Later, he and NAFCU Executive Vice President of Government Affairs and General Counsel Carrie Hunt will provide aWashington and Industry Update focusing on advocacy and trends affecting credit unions. NCUA Board Member Rick Metsger will update attendees on the latest regulatory developments at the agency.
Keynoters for this year's conference include Kevin Brown, professional speaker/motivational storyteller with Kevin Brown Enterprises, LLC.,and Drew Dudley, founder and chief catalyst at Day One Leadership. Both presenterswill address developments in leadership tactics and provide practical insights on how successful leaders create cultures of leadershipwithin their organizations.
