Loran Jackson was named regulatory compliance counsel in April 2019. In this role, Jackson helps NAFCU members with a variety of federal regulatory compliance issues.
Prior to joining NAFCU, Jackson worked as a law clerk at the Social Security Administration. During law school, she was a student attorney with her school’s legal clinic, where she worked with financial industry regulations in order to represent investors. She also interned at USAA in the Chief Legal Office where she worked on a variety of projects involving consumer financial protections.
Jackson graduated from Howard University School of Law in 2018 with a joint Juris Doctorate and Master’s of Business Administration. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Clarion University of Pennsylvania.
