Darren Jackson was appointed Vice President of Marketing in January of 2021, and leads marketing strategy and implementation for NAFCU membership, products, and conferences. He brings over 20 years of marketing experience gained from a cornucopia of industries.
Jackson has also served as NAFCU’s Director of Marketing, Senior Associate Director of Marketing, Associate Director of Marketing, and Marketing Manager. Prior to joining NAFCU, Jackson managed international activities for business meeting marketing at all Hilton Worldwide brands, and negotiated marketing contracts for all Sprint brands.
In Michigan, he led marketing departments for Michigan First Credit Union and Greektown Casino-Hotel. He initially honed his craft in several marketing roles at DTE Energy, a Fortune 500 company.
Jackson earned his BBA in marketing from The University of Michigan Ross School of Business, his MBA from Lawrence Tech University, and teaches future leaders as an adjunct professor of marketing at the University of Maryland Global Campus.
