About the Webinar

In this session, we will familiarize you with the new IRS tax forms with a review of the 2018 1040 and common schedules, review the new schedules 1-6, and compare the differences from the 2017 tax forms for both personal and business tax returns. We will NOT be calculating income but reviewing forms and schedules.

We will also discuss some best practices for submitting IRS Form 4506-T. This form is used to retrieve past Federal Tax Returns, W-2, and 1099 transcripts that are on file with the IRS. The document gives permission for a third party to retrieve the taxpayer’s data. Topics will include the options available for requesting borrower tax information, understanding the most common reasons for rejections and a review of the guidelines, usage and capacity for the IRS Form 4506-T.
