Extraordinary Deeds

Written by Anthony Demangone, Powered by NAFCU

I saw this story on CNN recently.  A man found a purse with $10,000 inside while riding the New York Subway.

There was no identification inside the purse.  Just some notes written in Russian.

What did he do? The right thing.

He turned the purse into a local police precinct, and it was reunited with its owner.

"I don't really think I did anything that extraordinary," Taverna said. "You feel good when you do the right thing."

I have to disagree. Imagine if, in 2019, we all did the "right thing" each and every day.

I think that would be the definition extraordinary.

Folks, I know you have a lot of options when it comes to conferences. We'd love to see you at one of ours in 2019. With that in mind, if you know you are coming to a NAFCU conference, by all means, register by this Friday to save $300.  Your credit union can save that much on each registration.
