Voluntary liquidation proposal, NCUSIF up Feb. 20
Feb. 14, 2014 – NCUA's board is poised to release a proposed rule on voluntary liquidations of federal credit unions during its Feb. 20 open meeting.
The proposed rule and a quarterly report on the National Credit Union Share Insurance Fund are the only items listed for next week's open meeting agenda, making for a brief open meeting. Agency staff last reported on the NCUSIF in October. The fund stood at a level equal to 1.31 percent of insured shares in September.
The open meeting begins at 10 a.m. Eastern Feb. 20.
