CAMS credits available at NAFCU's BSA Seminar

Minneapolis Again this year, NAFCU's BSA Seminar will offer attendees the opportunity to earn recertification credits for the prominent Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) designation. Early-bird registration savings for the seminar are available until June 14 with code BSASAVINGS.

Taking place in Minneapolis, Minn., August 11-14, the BSA Seminar brings together credit union professionals from across the country to learn the latest trends in money laundering and best practices to protect credit unions. In addition to building a strong network of BSA professionals, the seminar's sessions are designed to:

  • relay tips and tools on how to efficiently coordinate and monitor day-to-day BSA/AML compliance; and
  • boost confidence in BSA compliance.

The full agenda is available here; those interested in attending can also learn more through the seminar brochure.

At the conclusion of the seminar, those eligible will receive a certificate of participation for 16 CAMS credits to be submitted to the ACAMS – the largest international membership organization dedicated to preventing money laundering around the world.

Attendees will also have the opportunity to earn the prestigious NAFCU Certified Bank Secrecy Officer (NCBSO) designation by taking and passing the optional exam. Those already certified can receive education credits towards other NAFCU designation recertifications.

All NAFCU's conferences are open to both member and nonmember credit unions.
