Caucus, CU policies headline Sept. 5 NAFCU member call

member callNAFCU members will hear the latest on the association's advocacy efforts and receive a Washington update ahead of its fast-approaching Congressional Caucus during the Sept. 5 member-only call-in featuring President and CEO Dan Berger and senior government affairs staff.

The "NAFCU Q3 Member Call" will provide a preview of the association's Congressional Caucus – Sept. 11-14 – and will unveil its next efforts in pushing for regulatory relief, data security standards and more.

NAFCU's latest information regarding compliance with the Military Lending Act and website accessibility requirements under the Americans with Disabilities Act will also be discussed. Recent activities at the NCUA and Bureau of Consumer Financial Protection (previously the CFPB) will also be noted during the call.

The call is slated for 4 p.m. Eastern. Members will be able to ask questions during the call; questions can also be submitted in advance during the registration process.

Berger will be joined in the call by Executive Vice President of Government Affairs and General Counsel Carrie Hunt, Vice President of Legislative Affairs Brad Thaler, Vice President of Regulatory Compliance Brandy Bruyere, Director of Political Affairs Chad Adams and Chief Economist and Vice President of Research Curt Long.

NAFCU's Sept. 5 call-in is provided free as a benefit of membership in NAFCU, but registration is required (members only).
