CEOs and Senior Executives Conference kicks off

April 1, 2014 - Credit union CEOs and senior executives will attend numerous networking events and learn innovative ways to increase bottom-line growth at their institutions during NAFCU's 2014 CEOs and Senior Executives Conference, which kicks off today and runs through Thursday in Charleston, S.C.

"This year's program, with its sessions and numerous networking opportunities, will provide attendees vital information and fresh perspectives that will help strengthen their institutions' income," said NAFCU President and CEO Dan Berger, also on this year's speaker list. "With the continuing obstacles credit unions are facing, it is imperative that CEOs and senior executives have the specific competencies this conference offers to help enhance their operational efficiencies."

Conference attendees will hear from Berger as well as NCUA Board Member Rick Metsger, keynoters Peter Sheahan, Jacob Olcott and Andy Stefanovich, and other leading industry professionals.
Key topics addressed this week include:

  • leadership tactics for improving credit union operations;
  • an overview of the current economic landscape and its impact on credit unions; and
  • details on emerging business development opportunities.

Attendees at the conference today have the option of taking part in a networking golf outing or a half-day tour of Charleston and the surrounding sights.

The conference is being held at Charleston Place. It's open to NAFCU members and nonmembers. NAFCU Services Corp. and their Preferred Partners helped provide the program content for the conference.
