CFPB advisory board talks mortgages June 18

May 28, 2014 - NAFCU's regulatory affairs team will monitor the public meeting slated for June 18 by the CFPB Consumer Advisory Board – which will focus on recent trends and themes in the mortgage market, as well as the consumer experience.

CFPB says the meeting marks the start of public meetings for CAB as well as its advisory councils. NAFCU urged early on that the advisory board and councils, including the Credit Union Advisory Council, hold open sessions.

The board holds an all-day meeting June 18 in Reno, Nev., from 10 a.m.- 5 p.m. Pacific. CFPB Director Richard Cordray will speak at the event, which requires an RSVP for attendees and is also available streaming online.
