Insider views on reg relief revealed in July 11 NAFCU member call-in

NAFCU members will learn the latest on the association's efforts and expectations regarding regulatory relief and Dodd-Frank Act reform ahead for credit unions during the association's July 11 member-only call-in featuring President and CEO Dan Berger and senior government affairs staff.

The member call-in, "2017 Midyear Advocacy Update" will also brief members on the bankers' field-of-membership lawsuit, status of the share insurance fund, prospects for stabilization fund rebates and rulemaking activities at the NCUA and CFPB. NAFCU staff will also give credit union members the latest on economic developments affecting the industry.

The call is slated for 4 p.m. Eastern. Members will be able to ask questions during the call; questions can also be submitted in advance during the registration process.

Berger will be joined in the call by Executive Vice President of Government Affairs and General Counsel Carrie Hunt, Vice President of Legislative Affairs Brad Thaler, Director of Regulatory Affairs Alexander Monterrubio, Vice President of Regulatory Compliance Brandy Bruyere, Director of Political Affairs Dan O'Brien and Chief Economist and Director of Research Curt Long.

NAFCU's July 11 call-in is provided free as a benefit of membership in NAFCU, but registration is required.
