March 27 NAFCU webcast eyes Target breach
Feb. 28, 2014 – Credit unions will learn more about how the Target Corporation data breach occurred and tips on what they can do to protect their members during a March 27 NAFCU webcast featuring credit union attorney Bruce Jolly.
In "The Target Breach: Next Steps for Protecting Your Members," Jolly will discuss the Target breach and other major cases that offer insights to credit unions considering whether to join a class action against Target.
Jolly will address who pays for a breach; next steps regarding possible litigation; an overview of the class action litigation; vendor security promises an liability limitations; and federal rules involved in data breach claims and security requirements.
The March 27 webcast is set for 2 p.m. Eastern. Registration discounts apply through March 20.
