Metsger, Olcott speak at CEOs conference today

April 3, 2014 – Attendees at NAFCU's CEOs and Senior Executives Conference today will hear from NCUA Board Member Rick Metsger and cybersecurity expert Jacob Olcott, former lead negotiator on cybersecurity legislation for Senate Commerce Chairman John Rockefeller IV, D-W.Va.

Olcott, currently head of the cybersecurity practice at Good Harbor Security Risk Management LLC, will cover the latest cybersecurity threats facing credit unions in the wake of massive data breaches at retailers like Target.

Attendees will also hear from Fannie Mae Senior Vice President and Chief Economist Douglas Duncan on the economic forecast and how economic trends are affecting credit unions.

Also, Richard Brock, CEO of Burns-Fazzi, Brock, and Kirk Sherman, of Sherman & Patterson Ltd., will speak on executive compensation and how to navigate NCUA rules while maximizing retention and rewards.

Today is the final day of the conference, which also featured a networking golf tournament and tour of scenic Charleston, S.C.
