Rockwell, Wetherington Annual Conference keynoters

Jan. 31, 2014 - Credit unions will learn pioneering business strategies to help increase membership and boost their bottom lines from leadership innovators Dan Rockwell and Lee Wetherington during keynote addresses at NAFCU's 47th Annual Conference and Solutions Expo this July in Las Vegas.

"Rockwell and Wetherington are dynamic speakers whose thought-provoking insight on leadership techniques will help credit unions boost innovation, identify trends and maximize net income," said Dan Berger, NAFCU's president and CEO.

Rockwell is the author of the world-renowned blog LeadershipFreak, which has more than 200,000 subscribers. In his keynote, Rockwell will share his two-step formula to help leaders reignite energy and fuel passion at an organization.

Lee Wetherington

Wetherington is the director of strategic insight for ProfitStars, where he educates financial executives on the trends and implications of new technologies. Wetherington's presentation will identify unique strategies for tackling the latest technologies and trends to help prepare for the future.

Additional speakers include NCUA Chairman Debbie Matz. Berger and other top NAFCU staff will also lead a "kick-off conversation" addressing the top regulatory and legislative issues with attendees on opening day. Several networking events are also slated, including the Small Credit Union Roundtable, CEOs' Forum, Chairs' Caucus and Senior Management Forum.

The conference, July 22-26 at The Venetian Las Vegas Casino, Hotel & Resort, is open to NAFCU members and nonmembers. Early registration savings end May 23.
