Strategic Growth Conference eyes CU income opportunities
Feb. 4, 2014 – Registration is still open for NAFCU's upcoming Strategic Growth Conference, which will focus on income opportunities for credit unions and growth strategies focused on staying ahead of the competition.
The conference is March 4-6 at the Marina del Ray Marriott in Venice Beach, Calif. NAFCU this week confirmed two new speakers for the conference session on reengineering websites: NAFCU Preferred Partner Insuritas President and CEO Jeff Chesky, and Raj Karkara, the director of global prepaid strategy for Mastercard, and an advisor to start-up businesses.
Other sessions include a peer panel on "Growing your Credit Union Through Non-Interest Income," a discussion on rebranding after credit union mergers, and a look at how auto loan refinancing can be a growth opportunity.
Other featured speakers at the conference include NAFCU Director of Regulatory Affairs Mike Coleman, Member One FCU Chief Sales Officer Mark Hudzik and keynoter Lisa Bodell, the founder and CEO of futurethink and an award-wining author. All attendees will receive a signed copy of Bodell's best-selling book, Kill the Company: End the Status Quo, Start an Innovation Revolution.
