Product sales management, CUSO benefits headline NAFCU webcasts

Credit union viewers to NAFCU's webcasts next week will learn how to effectively manage indirect lending programs with a focus on ancillary product sales, and will uncover the monetary and efficiency benefits of using credit union service organizations (CUSOs) in the lending process.

On Monday, NAFCU's webcast, "Conducting Due Diligence on Ancillary Product Sales," will help credit unions better manage indirect lending programs. The CFPB and NCUA have both announced an increased supervisory focus on indirect lenders financing ancillary products, and this webcast will help ensure credit unions are using due diligence on ancillary product sales.

On Thursday, credit unions will review real-world case studies to learn the benefits of using CUSOs in the lending process, including reducing per-loan costs and charges; gaining greater bargaining power when working with software solutions and loan tools; and increasing access to lending opportunities for their members.
