Matz webinar today at 3 p.m.; send questions ahead
NCUA Board Chairman Debbie Matz hosts her town hall webinar at 3 p.m. Eastern today, providing an opportunity for credit unions to raise questions about any number of issues – examinations, NCUA's budget process, regulatory relief and more.
Credit unions can register or log in at this link to access the webinar, which is provided free of charge. Questions can be submitted in advance to WebinarQuestions@ncua.gov (use the subject line "Matz Town Hall Webinar").
According to NCUA, the webinar will feature updates on:
- credit union system performance;
- NCUA's regulatory modernization initiative;
- efforts to provide regulatory relief;
- a forthcoming proposed rule on member business lending; and
- cybersecurity and interest rate risks.
Since the beginning of her term, Matz has held 18 listening sessions and 11 webinars where credit unions have been able to raise questions and make suggestions to NCUA officials. NAFCU staff encourage members to participate.
