You must earn 24 continuing education credits (CEUs) during your accumulation period to maintain your NCCO. Each time you recertify, your NCCO is valid for another two year period during which you would need to obtain 24 CEUs in order to maintain your NCCO status. Your NCCO can be renewed in a number of ways:
- Attend NAFCU’s Regulatory Compliance Seminar (24 CEUs of in-person training)
- Attend NAFCU’s Regulatory Compliance School (24 CEUs of in-person training)
- Attend compliance sessions at other NAFCU conferences (various CEUs)
- Attend a NAFCU compliance webcast (1.5 CEUs each)

CEUs can also be earned by attending certain non-NAFCU conferences, events, or webcasts. Learn more about non-NAFCU programs that qualify for NCCO CEUs.
