Question – I know that there are special rules for advertisements when it comes to television and radio advertisements. These rules allow some of the disclosures to be omitted from the advertisements, so long as the consumer can call the credit union to obtain the missing information. Is this true, and if so, does it apply to all disclosures that need to appear on the advertisement?
