Important Regulatory Dates Add to Calendar 2020-08-07 17:00:00 2020-08-07 17:00:00 Comments Due to NAFCU: CFPB - Qualified Mortgage Definition (Extension of Sunset Date) NAFCU would like to highlight the following: Currently, the Temporary Government Sponsored Enterprise (GSE) QM loan category (Temporary GSE QM or “GSE Patch”) expires on January 10, 2021, or upon the GSEs exiting conservatorship, whichever occurs first. This proposal extends the Temporary GSE QM loan sunset date until the amendments to the General QM loan definition take effect; removing references to January 10, 2021.
