Checklists; HMDA Guide; Whoops

A reader asked if we'd be willing to create checklists to help you comply with new rules and regulations.  I really don't like checklists, because I fear people gravitate to them instead of reading regulations closely to come up with their own compliance plan.  But when a regulator gives you a checklist, then by all means - take advantage.

NCUA has a master list of "checklists," better known as the Automated Integrated Regulatory Examination Software, or AIRES.  Access the AIRES webpage here, which contains a link to the questionnaires.  Examiners will use the lists when they examine your credit union.  Ergo, you should use the lists before they examine your credit union.
