With the Fed consolidating check processing districts into one, we're soon going to be looking at the end of non-local checks. That does make Check 21 seem more attractive, as that system allows checks to be processed in less time.Â
With that in mind, I stumbled across a great Check 21 resource. The FFIEC put together a Check 21 training page. And yes, its free. On the left-hand side of the page, you'll see a number of presentations that are available, as well as a ton of useful links. So, if you are thinking of moving toward Check 21 or you simply want to refresh your memory, this is a solid resource.
