Getting It Right Got Updated; Off to Syracuse

For those with HMDA responsibilities, note that the FFIEC has updated its "Guide to HMDA Reporting: Getting it Right!"  (Am I the only one who thinks it is strange to have an exclamation point in the title of a guidance document.  The two generally don't go hand-in-hand.  I digress.)  You can access the updated version here.

This is a great guidance.  If you ever ask me a question regarding HMDA, I guarantee you that it will be the first thing I read.   Not to tell you how to do your job, but if you work with HMDA, you may want to save a copy of the document to your computer's desktop.  That way, if the internet goes down, you're still in business.

Maybe I shouldn't be so cocky, though.  Here's the less-than-stellar result from every "away" Penn State game I've attended.

    • Nebraska 18, Penn State 10.  September 13, 2003. Lincoln, Nebraska.
    • Michigan 27, Penn State 25.  October 15, 2005.  Ann Arbor, Michigan.
    • Wisconsin 13, Penn State 3.  November 4, 2006.  Madison, Wisconsin.
  • The Syracuse Orange play in the Carrier Dome.  Yes, that's the same Carrier that makes the air conditioning units.  So is the dome air conditioned?  Of course not. Granted, Syracuse is pretty far north, but still...
