Happy New Year, everyone. 2008? That seems like a date out of a Buck Rogers comic book. (OK, I may have dated myself.)
Compliance officers, buckle up. Let's see what we have on tap for this year:
- Red Flags implementation
- Affiliate marketing implementation
- Regulation Z open-end final rule (likely)
- RESPA reform (we expect a proposal in January or February)
- HOEPA final rule (likely)
- Mortgage reform (who knows how this will finally shake out?)
And I'm sure that more will come down the pike. There's never a dull day in Complianceville, eh?
