Policy Exchange Library

Posted by Sarah Loats

As some of you may be aware, NAFCU has a Policy Exchange Library for its members. The library is a place where members can share sample policies with each other. However, anyone who has perused this library lately has probably noticed that it is woefully out of date. The compliance department has received many requests to update the library, and we agree it needs revamping!

This is where you come in. This time around, instead of just asking for you to push through whatever policies you may feel compelled to share, we’d like to form a committee. We’d like this committee to be filled by you, our members who really are the ones who benefit from this tool. The committee would be volunteers who are willing to provide input into how the library can best serve everyone. What kind of policies would be the most useful? How many? Format and structure issues? Also, these volunteers can hopefully use their networks to encourage other NAFCU members to provide sample policies. It shouldn’t be much work, but we believe it will provide a better structure to the library, and an overall better product for you, our members.

If you are willing to be such a volunteer or if you have helpful suggestions, please email Sarah.
