Resource for the Credit Counseling Requirement

Posted by Anthony Demangone

Hey guys - sorry for the second post today.  But boy did I kick the hornet's nest with this morning's blog post. It seems that the credit counseling requirement found within the Reg Z proposal was not on everyone's radar.  And that's OK.  You'd need a NASA-powered radar to keep track of everything flying around within that proposal.

But here's some great news.  The National Foundation for Credit Counseling has created a free solution designed to meet the proposed requirement to provide information to credit card borrowers about at least three credit counseling agencies that are properly approved.  It may be worth your while to check it out.
If you have specific questions, their contact information is found within the links above.
