For the past few years, NCUA has worked on various exam modernization initiatives. This includes modernizing the Call Report, improving the coordination of shared NCUA/state regulator exams and enterprise solution modernization. One key change coming in late 2020 is the retirement of the Automated Integrated Regulatory Examination System (AIRES) software.
