Good luck with that...

Written by Anthony Demangone

Imagine if you went back in time to a bar...let's say the year was 1954.

The radio blares a boxing match, and everyone listens intently.

Trying to sound smart, you note that in a mere 30 years, professional football would dominate the U.S. sporting landscape.  It would be bigger than boxing.  Even bigger than baseball.  The entire bar erupts in laughter.

Now, as you were sitting red-faced, the bartender quietly offers you a beer on the house.  A nice gesture to strengthen your spirits.   You say thanks, and before you know it, you're staring at an ice-cold Schlitz. In fact, you notice a Schlitz advertisement on the wall of the bar.

Schlitz

There might be some that say your credit union can never achieve this or that.  It might be market share. Or an asset level.  The same goes for our industry.

All I can say to those folks is this: Be sure to pick up a case of Schlitz before the guys come over to listen to big fight this weekend. Â
