Your Biggest Challenges

Written by Anthony Demangone

I hope you don't mind, but I'm going to ask you for some help today.  As you read this, I'm currently at NAFCU's Management Development Institute.  I'm with 70 or so credit union managers, and we're all trying to improve our performance.

I'll speak at the conference later this week, and I'll give the following questionnaire to each attendee.

What are the three biggest issues affecting your credit union in a negative way?

  1.
  2.
  3. .

What are the three biggest things affecting your personal performance in a negative way?

  1.
  2.
  3.

What can NAFCU do better to help you or your credit union?

Did your credit union benefit from some clever innovation, big idea, or little idea this year?  It could involve efficiency, employee morale, revenue boosters, etc.  If so, what was it?  Would you be willing to brag about it to me or others in an article or blog post?

Here's my goal.  I'll take the results, and analyze them.  I'll share what the common problems are for organizations, as well as for credit union leaders.  I'll share great ideas from all of you. And the data will help me and NAFCU focus on issues and information that will help you the most.

If you want me to treat your input anonymously, just say the word. Feel free to email me your thoughts.  You can also download the questionnaire here. Simply can fax it back to my attention at (703)522-2734.

Many thanks, everyone.  And have a great week.
