Wednesday's Congressional Reception, an annual event held in conjunction with NAFCU's Congressional Caucus, drew numerous members of Congress and their staff to meet and visit with their credit union constituents from back home.
Counted among this year's guests were Rep. Charlie Rangel, D-N.Y., senior member of the House Ways and Means Committee and Joint Committee on Taxation.
Also attending were Reps. Bill Foster, D-Ill., Sheila Jackson Lee, D-Texas, Tom McClintock, R-Calif., Joyce Beatty, D-Ohio, and more - including NCUA Board Member J. Mark McWatters, who also has a background on Capitol Hill.
Wednesday's reception was held in Room 2168 (The Gold Room) of the Rayburn House Office Building.
The NAFCU Congressional Caucus, the association's credit union lobbying event of the year, continues through this morning at the Hyatt Regency Washington on Capitol Hill.
Registration is open now for the 2016 Caucus; learn more.
