NAFCU's 2017 Strategic Growth Conference Kicks Off in Charleston, S.C.

Charleston S.C. (Feb. 21, 2017)– Credit union professionals from across the country are gathering today in Charleston S.C.,to kick off the National Association of Federally-Insured Credit Unions' (NAFCU) 2017 Strategic Growth Conference. During the conference,attendees will learn new, revenue-boosting solutions to drive credit union success and growth. The conference runs through Thursday, Feb. 23, and is open to NAFCU members and nonmembers.
"Competition in today's credit union marketplace is at an all-time high, so now is the perfect opportunity to learn new marketing and lending strategies that will keep credit unions ahead of challengers and boost revenue," said NAFCU President and CEO Dan Berger. "This conference is designed to arm attendees with the knowledge they need to help yield greater bottom-line results."
Keynote speakerKen Schmidt, communications strategist and former director of communications for Harley-Davidson Motor Company, will provide the opening presentation, "Develop Extreme Brand Loyalty."Schmidt will share his experiences reinvigorating Harley-Davidson's brand and boosting sales to soaring new heights. Attendees will learn how to build an equally vocal customer base and a passionately loyal credit union culture to help achieve it.
Throughout the conference, attendees will hear from NAFCU's highly regarded staff, including NAFCU Executive Vice President and COO Anthony Demangone, who will provide today's opening address and moderate the conference; and NAFCU Director of Education Devon Lyon.
