Chipotle data breach affected 'most' locations

Restaurant chain Chipotle this week admitted to CNNMoney that a data security breach the company first acknowledged in April affected "most, but not all [of its] restaurants."

The point-of-sale malware breach affected the chain between March 24 and April 18. Chipotle created a database of affected locations that is searchable by city and state. The chain has more than 2,200 locations in the U.S.

The chain said affected data includes cardholder names, card numbers, expiration dates and verification codes. The company is urging customers to monitor their card statements closely.

Electronic signature company DocuSign recently admitted to a data breach that led to malware phishing attacks against its customers, who number more than 100 million.
