Become NCCO certified with NAFCU's new self-study bundle

complianceBuilding upon NAFCU's award-winning Certified Compliance Officer (NCCO) program, NAFCU has launched a new self-study bundle that allows credit union leaders to earn their NCCO certification from home in one year.

The NCCO Self-Study Bundle includes:

  • Credit Union Compliance GPS: Electronic resource that explains complex regulatory language in plain English and covers everything from the basic anatomy of a federal credit union to specifics of the NCUA, Bureau of Consumer Financial Protection (previously the CFPB), and important credit union regulations including Regulation Z and privacy rules. This manual can be used throughout a credit union and as a study tool for the NCCO exams.
  • NCCO Study Guide: Chapter-by-chapter, section-by-section listing of study tips to help you navigate through the NCCO exams. These tips are intended to provide general guidance, as well as pinpoint those areas on which test takers should focus on to be successful on each exam.
  • NCCO Exams: Includes the 2018 version of all four of the exams needed to earn the NCCO certification (exams follow the most recent version of the GPS). Please note: exam proctor must be present when taking exams.

Obtaining the NCCO designation establishes you as a serious compliance professional with a comprehensive understanding of the major regulations that govern credit union operations. The Self-Study Bundle is presented as a cost-effective alternative to attending NAFCU’s Regulatory Compliance School

The bundle can be purchased for a cost of $1,799 for members and $2,599 for nonmembers.
