Executive Assistant

The National Association of Federally-Insured Credit Unions (NAFCU) seeks an Executive Assistant to support the Executive Vice President of Government Affairs/General Counsel and serve as the administrative support for the Government Affairs team.

What you'll do:

You will maintain the EVP’s calendar and schedule appointments, as well as handle travel arrangements and correspondence; coordinate presentations for the EVP and the Government Affairs team; screen and distribute mail within the team: handle inquiries for material and information from members and outside vendors and agencies; manage the expense reports for the Government Affairs team; and, assist with mailings and filings for the Association’s Political Action Committee.

Position Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of college or business school or 2 years of prior administrative experience.
  • Strong organizational skills, accuracy in work, ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in writing and a pleasant, professional office and telephone manner.
  • A strong team player. 
  • Proficient in MS Office, especially Word, Outlook, and Excel.
