NAFCU staff help bring Habitat for Humanity build to the finish line
NAFCU staff Wednesday joined together with Habitat for Humanity (H4H) to work on a home build project in the greater Northern Virginia region. The volunteer group put the finishing touches on a site that NAFCU has worked on over the course of three visits.
NAFCU has supported and worked alongside H4H’s different programs and charitable initiatives over the years, previously supporting a credit union that worked with H4H to help build a home for a wounded veteran and his family. The COVID-19 pandemic unfortunately put a pause on these activities, but NAFCU is proud to once again partner with H4H.
NAFCU continues to work with Congress, the administration, and other government agencies to ensure credit unions can meet their members' home-ownership needs.
