Credit unions have until midnight Friday to use the code MLI17SAVINGS and save $200 on NAFCU's Management and Leadership Institute – slated Oct. 2-6 in San Diego – before the early-bird savings run out.

NAFCU's Management and Leadership Institute will enrich the leadership skills of attendees through trainings led by top industry leaders and experts. The five-day program will cover what a high-impact credit union leader should know regarding operating a credit union, including financial management, conducting an accounting cost analysis and risk management. The program also allows time for attendees to network and learn new communication techniques.

NAFCU President and CEO Dan Berger will present a welcome address at the Institute and all attendees will receive a free, signed copy of his book, "Managing and Leading Well," co-authored with Executive Vice President and COO Anthony Demangone.

Leadership guru John Spence is also returning to this year's Management and Leadership Institute to present a full-day workshop, "The Leader of the Future." He will provide attendees with the top 10 attributes that all leaders possess and help them discover the seven factors to create their own personal leadership development plans.
