Michael (Mike) Kirby II is the Head of FIS Managed Risk and Security Services. In this role, Mike oversees client services delivery in two functional areas: Managed Risk Services (MRS) and Managed Security Services (MSS). In addition, he oversees MSS Innovation and Product Strategy.

Mike began his career as a technology professional in public education. After 3 years of implementing and securing state of the art technology solutions in public education, he moved to the private sector and began working with an entrepreneurial technology services company focused on the financial services industry. Mr. Kirby co-founded The Managed Security Services, a unique full-service Managed Security Service Provider (MSSP) with a focus on Financial Services.

Mike has extensive experience building, leading and managing teams tasked with extremely difficult challenges or objectives. He has served as a capable senior executive, Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) and is just as capable serving technical roles within business.
